Tracy True Dismukes, Collage owner

About the Owner

Tracy True Dismukes, owner of COLLAGE Designer Consignment, graduated from Berry High School, earned a BS in Business Administration from Auburn University and an MBA from Samford University. She began her career as a Cost Accountant for SouthTrust Bank and was promoted into SouthTrust Corporation as an Internal Management Consultant. While at the bank for 12 years, around year 6, she purchased COLLAGE (in 1995) which was three years old and was located in a beautiful 70-year old house on Crescent Avenue in Homewood. She had just graduated with her MBA and wanted to test ALL of her business skills, not just her analytical side. So with no retail background, she created the type of store she would like to shop in — great clothes and accessories at an affordable price in a cozy, welcoming, relaxed environment.
